Vintage Racing Seminar Scheduled For March 19 In California

Mountain View, CA.””David Stark, publisher  of the e-newsletter “Western Vintage Road Racing Update” announced today that a consortium of vintage motorcycle road racers, clubs, sanctioning groups and business will present a half-day seminar and show about how to get started in vintage motorcycle racing. The seminar is set for March 19 in Redwood City.

The event, sponsored by the Vintage Motorcycle Racing Association (Vmoto) and Motostrano, will take place at Motostrano’s Redwood City store, 880 Hurlingame Road, Redwood City, CA on March 19. The seminar is from 1 to 4 p.m. with presentations beginning at 1:30 p.m.

In addition to Vmoto officials, representatives from the American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) and American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) will make presentations and answers questions about each sanctioning group. Additional presentations on rider preparation, equipment, motorcycle preparation, selection and race classes will take place throughout the afternoon. A variety of vintage road racing motorcycles will be on display. The Ducati, Norton and Triumph motorcycle clubs will also have booths set up and bikes on display.
