DANE WESTBY FINISHES STRONG AT NEW JERSEY

A wet race on Saturday didn’t slow down Westby and his #00 Yamalube/Westby Racing YZF-R6. After qualifying in pole position, Westby led the race and took the win in race one of the “Devil’s Showdown,” despite the team having to replace the bike’s motor earlier that day. After a bad start in race two, Westby battled his way up to the front until a wrong tire choice slowed him down, resulting in a third place finish. Westby closes the 2014 season with a third place standing in the Daytona Sportbike class.
