POWERMATE PRAMAC RACING TEAM MAIN SPONSOR IN THE NEXT U.S. GRAND PRIX The Pramac Racing Team will have a new livery main sponsor, Powermate, for the next United States Grand Prix that will take place Sunday on Laguna Seca’s track in California. Powermate is an American Company that is part of the Pramac Group, its headquarters are in Long Grove, Illinois. The company, a leader in its field, produces and sells power units and industrial compressors of high capacity in North America. Powermate will return on the Pramac Racing Team liveries during the Grand Prix of Indianapolis that will take place in the last week of August. Global fans of Fiat and Yamaha were given the chance to submit their photos to be pictured on the fairings of the M1s of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo for this race, with 500 spots available on each bike. It took less than 30 minutes to fill the fairings when the special website was opened for the submission of photos. Today in front of Monster Yamaha Tech3 garage at 3.30 pm As the duo have been dubbed “Team Texas,” this special livery will depict the red, white, and blue of the Texas state flag and celebrate the first time they have raced on the same team in an American Grand Prix. The special graphic will also appear on each riders’ leathers and on T-shirts worn by both riders. Edwards will use his famous T-shirt cannon to launch some of the limited edition shirts to the crowd during Saturday evening’s concert and rider interview session at 6:00 p.m. on the main stage in the Yamaha marketplace. “Both of our riders are really excited about being together on home soil” said Hervé Poncharal, Manager of the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team. “And we hope the US fans will join us in supporting Team Texas.” More, from a press release issued by Dainese: Special livery for the Dainese riders at Laguna Seca Dainese presents the new leathersuits that Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will wear at the Laguna Seca Gran Prix which takes place next Sunday in California. During the US race the Dainese riders will show a special celebrating livery required by Fiat Automobiles to celebrate the next Fiat 500 launch in the US market. The leathers, that on this occasion will be white, black and yellow coloured, have been customized on the front, back, arms and legs with the photos of the faces of 500 fans that first sent their picture within a dedicated event. In this way they will have the chance to be “present” on the technical equipment and the Yamaha bikes of the 2 champions. The winners’ faces have been printed on the perforated lorica leather of the Dainese suits: the final effect is that of a very original black and white poster, composed by the stylized faces of the lucky fans.
