Aprilia USA announces 2006 Roadracing Contingency Program For 2006 Aprilia will continue the tradition of rewarding the fastest Aprilia-mounted club racers across the country. Based on the overall championship in select club classes, a racer can take home as much as $10,000 at the end of the season. “We are impressed with the caliber and quality of club racers who see the Aprilia RSVR and Tuono as an ideal platform for club racing,” say Aprilia Vice-President of Marketing Mike Kull. “Last year Aprilia motorcycles took several club championships and furthered our message that our machines were born from and for the track. The 2006 program is built to support our grassroots racers, the core enthusiasts on the track.” Racers competing in AFM, MRA, WSMC, CRA, CMRA, and OMRRA, as well as qualifying and racing in the CCS Race of Champions and the WERA GNF will be eligible for the program. Over $130,000 is available in both expert and novice classes for 2006. A copy of the 2006 Aprilia Roadracing Contingency Guide is attached.
