The AMA Superbike race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is currently on hold while the racetrack surface is dried. A brief rain shower soaked the track during the scheduled lunch break, and Mid-Ohio staff has been working to dry the track ever since the rain stopped. The Superbike race will start shortly after the surface is dried and inspected, and the Supersport final will follow the Superbike event Sunday afternoon. No more rain is expected to fall at Mid-Ohio on Sunday. Update: According to AMA Pro Racing Superbike Media Manager Donnie Clark, the AMA Superbike race at Mid-Ohio will be televised live on SPEED Channel at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, followed immediately by the AMA Supersport race, which will be televised live on SPEED at 4:00 p.m.
