The last time Italian Luca Scassa was in America he became the 2007 AMA Rookie of the Year riding an Italian bike (MV) for Eraldo Ferracci’s “Italian” team in the Superbike Championship. Since he returned to Europe he won the 2008 Italian Superbike Championship and then moved on to the 2009 Superbike World Championship series. Scassa returned to American asphalt for the World Superbike round at Miller Motorsports Park aboard a Kawasaki ZX-10R. Check out those elbow pucks.
