Triumph Superbike Classic At Barber To Include Freestyle Motocross Exhibit, Stunt Performances

FREESTYLE MOTOCROSS JUMPERS AND STUNTERS SET TO PERFORM AT BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK

Birmingham, Ala. (June 10) – Fans at this year’s Triumph Superbike Classic presented by America’s First Federal Credit Union on June 21st-22nd at Barber Motorsports Park will see great racing and amazing displays of bike control with stunt bike and freestyle motocross demonstrations throughout the weekend.

High-flying Freestyle Motocross jumpers will perform three times per day in the Castrol Fan Zone. Soaring 40-feet overhead between take-off and landing ramps 75- feet apart, these X Games medalists will also be available for autographs between shows.

Nick Apex and Ernie Brocha will once again thrill the audience with a mastery of their Triumphs during the lunch break each day. Wheel stands, wheelies and other stunts will be performed around the racing surface by the internationally recognized duo.

“We’ve found the perfect addition to our racing action with the inclusion of the stunt team and freestyle motocross jumpers,” said Rick Humphrey, vice president of ZOOM Motorsports, the exclusive promoter at Barber Motorsports Park. “Our fans will have the opportunity to see some of the world’s best riders in both disciplines and then be able to meet them after their performances.”

Daily tickets are available starting at $35, or $50 for the two-day weekend. Paddock upgrades are included in the price of a two-day ticket and are also available for daily tickets. Parade laps, tent & motorhome camping, and RV spots are also available in limited quantities.

The Motorcycle Super Saver ticket is the perfect ticket for the many motorcycle enthusiasts who catch the action at Barber Motorsports Park. This $90 ticket is valued at $200 and includes general admission and paddock access for four motorcycle events at the park along with a Sunday parade lap where fans can drive their own motorcycles around the 2.38 mile track during the Triumph Superbike Classic weekend. The Motorcycle Super Saver will also include two WERA events and the 10th Annual Barber Vintage Festival presented by Triumph Dealers of North America on October 10th – 12th.
