VESRAH SUZUKI WILL BE COMPETING IN BOTH THE DAYTONA SPORTBIKE AND THE AMERICAN SUPERBIKE CLASSES AT THE AMA PRO RACING SUZUKI SUPERBIKE SHOWDOWN AT ROAD ATLANTA Vesrah Suzuki veteran rider Tray Batey will return to piloting a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 for the team at the Suzuki Superbike Showdown held at Road Atlanta in Braselton Georgia this weekend (April 16-18). Tray, who will turn 50 this year, will be riding in the American SuperBike class and this adventure is just the latest in a career that has spanned 3 decades. Cory West and Chris Fillmore will be aboard the Vesrah Suzuki GSX-R 600 machinery in the Daytona SportBike class and are looking to get on the podium for the first time this year. Mark Junge Team Owner Vesrah Suzuki “I’m happy to be able to provide this opportunity for Tray as he has ridden for me for the last 9 years and I know he enjoys the Road Atlanta circuit. Cory and Chris tested at Autobahn Country Club and both have found set-ups more to their liking.” Tray Batey – Vesrah Suzuki #33 “With not having been on a road race bike since October 2009 getting up to speed will take a little while and getting acclimated to the Dunlop tires will be a challenge as I have not ridden a Dunlop tire since 1993. I’m looking forward to getting on the Vesrah Suzuki GSX-R 1000 at Road Atlanta, which is one of my favorite tracks. I know Mark Junge has built a fast bike for me to race and I can’t wait to get back on the racetrack.”
