Tickets Go On Sale for 2012 Races Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to Conduct Five World Class Race Events MONTEREY, Calif. It’s time to get revved up for the 2012 race season at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Beginning Wednesday, December 7 motorsports enthusiasts may purchase tickets to all of the premier events on the 2012 calendar. The 2012 Race Schedule includes the following: American Le Mans Monterey, presented by Patron (May 11-12) The American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón returns for its 14th season and is the premier sports car racing championship in the world. Featuring multiple classes of high-tech sports cars competing together in each race, the American Le Mans Series provides a dynamic that offers constant passing and on-track battles throughout. The six-hour endurance race takes competitors from daylight, to dusk and into the darkness, pushing drivers’ and crews’ mental and physical abilities. Advance purchase general admission: $60 for a two day pass. General admission and paddock free for Children 12 and under with a paying adult. Hospitality $250-$495. Free parking available. Ferrari Racing Days (May 18-20) Ferrari Racing Days return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with three full days of racing with the Ferrari 458 Challenge along with historic Formula 1 cars and Corse Clienti programs. The Ferrari Challenge series allows Ferrari owners the opportunity to compete wheel-to-wheel while providing Ferrari enthusiasts the chance to watch these vehicles in their natural environment the race track. Red Bull United States Grand Prix featuring the MotoGP World Championship (July 27-29) Returning to the Monterey Peninsula for the eighth consecutive year is the Red Bull United States Grand Prix, featuring the MotoGP World Championship. MotoGP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship, with a season of 18 Grand Prix race weekends in 15 countries bringing together the world’s top motorcycle manufacturers like Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Ducati. Advance purchase general admission starting at $25 or a three day pass for $75. General admission free for Children 12 and under with a paying adult. Paddock Pass (limited availability) $50 and children 12 and under free with an adult holding a paddock pass. Hospitality $365-$775. Free parking available. Reserve parking: $20-$50. Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion (August 17-19) Only approximately 550 vehicles will be accepted to compete in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, based on the car’s authenticity and race provenance and period correctness. The 2012 featured marque is the iconic Shelby Cobra. Advance purchase general admission starting at $50. Three day pass $130. Continental Tire Sports Car Festival, Powered by Mazda (September 7-9) The GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series is one of the most competitive professional road racing championships in North America. In 2012, the Rolex GT class will welcome the arrival of popular European makes, with GRAND-AM adding racing versions of the Ferrari 458 and the Audi R8 to its diverse lineup.
