43rd WERA GRAND NATIONAL FINALS!
The 43rd WERA Grand National Finals will be at BarberMotorsportsPark starting on October 22nd through the 25th! Thursday will be a practice day and Friday the racing action will begin with the riders of the WERA Vintage Series featuring the Raven V2 Class, as well as some of the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series riders. Saturday the balance of the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series riders will compete. Sunday the WERA National Challenge Series sanctioned by AMA will see their final round featuring the Michelin/WERA Superbike Class.
All of the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series classes are a winner take all format to crown the Sportsman National Champions in their respective classes. Riders from all of WERA’s Regions have been invited to compete for the coveted Pirelli/WERA National Sportsman Championships! The WERA Vintage Series and the WERA National Challenge Series sanctioned by AMA are point Championships and this is the final round to garner the points necessary to be crowned the WERA Vintage Series Class Champion and the WERA National Challenge Series Class Champions.
Action begins at 12:30 on Friday and Saturday and at noon on Sunday! Tickets for the event will be available at the gate and camping is available. Come out and enjoy the competition and see the future of Roadracing in the US compete at the 43rd WERA Grand National Finals where Champions are crowned and start their path to Pro and World Competition this weekend at the beautiful Barber Motorsports Park facility!
