Ducati Austin is committed to continuing with Anthony Gobert, team owner Terry Gregoricka said when he returned a phone call to Roadracing World moments ago.

We had left a message with Gregoricka asking him to confirm or deny reports that he was looking at dumping Gobert for being a “No Show” instead of his long-time nickname, “Go Show.”

But when asked if there was any truth to the reports, which originated with team insiders, or if there was nothing to it, Gregoricka said, “Anthony is our number one rider and will continue to be our number one rider. There’s been some talk about having a second rider, but that’s it.”

Asked if he was talking to Lee Acree, Gregoricka said “I’m not talking to him.”

Asked if he had received any explanation as to why Gobert did not show up for a recent test at Pikes Peak, Gregoricka said, “No comment.”
