Team Embry Owner: Contrary To What Rider Said, We’re Still In Business

From a press release issued by Mike Embry:

This is an official press release from Team Embry owner Mike Embry to clarify statements from a press release last week. My team has been aware of the amount of funding in our budget since the first of the year, and as they know and most people associated know I fund this team out of pocket.

This team has not folded or quit the season, Geoff May and Brian Stokes are still contracted with Team Embry and we will finish the season. The budget has had to be supplemented for travel expenses for the crew and transport cost and maintenance.

The team is very proud of our results in our first full year of AMA Superbike, Geoff is riding as well as anyone on the track, if we had any semblence of support we would be doing even better.

Brian is riding hard in the Superstock class and had a great result at Brainerd in the Superbike race aboard our 800.

We would like to thank Pirelli and everyone involved.
