Suzuki Motor USA, LLC announced today the initial offering of its 2027 motorcycle lineup, headlined by the debut of the all-new SV-7GX and SV-7GXV sport crossover models. Introducing a new value-oriented model to the lineup, the SV-7GXV expands access to Suzuki’s V-Twin powered sport crossover lineup. Also included in this first wave are the championship-proven RM-Z motocross family and official MSRP pricing and availability for the GSX-R1000 40th Anniversary Edition line.

Representing three distinct segments of Suzuki performance, these new models highlight the company’s commitment to innovation, racing heritage, and rider-focused performance across the road and track.

Key Features GSX-R1000

Updated for 2027, the new high-performance 999.8cm3 four-stroke liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four engine retains the same level of driveability and reliability, while producing torque in even more linear fashion resulting in the quickest accelerating GSX-R model.
GSX-R1000 has an updated suite of S.I.R.S electronic rider aids. This advanced suite was developed to maximize the potential of this updated GSX-R.

A new, lighter and more precise Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) provides six-direction, three-axis, motion, and position information to the ECM, so instantaneous adjustments are made electronically.

Applied for the first time on a GSX-R, Smart TLR Control automatically sets the response of the Roll Torque Control (RT) and the Lift Limiter (LIFT) to align to the Suzuki Traction Control System (TC) setting selected by the rider.

Using information from a new Bosch IMU, the Motion Track Brake System (“cornering ABS”) has been updated to support the rider’s braking in various riding situations.

Available in Pearl Vigor Blue / Pearl Tech White or Pearl Ignite Yellow / Metallic Mat Stellar Blue.

New carbon-fiber winglets are mounted to the sides of the front cowling. Winglet design cues come from the GSX-R1000R-based CN Challenge motorcycle that races in the Suzuka 8-hour endurance event—bringing race-bred aerodynamic style to the street.

To match the new exhaust, the 2027 GSX-R1000RS’ left and right under cowl have been changed. The left cowl panel is smooth (a hole on the prior GSX-R1000 is removed), enhancing the appearance of the body.

Official MSRP pricing has been set for the GSX-R1000 40th Anniversary Edition, GSX-R1000R 40th Anniversary Edition, and range-topping GSX-R1000RS 40th Anniversary Edition.
