​Supersport 300 World Championship: Battley Cycles-Sponsored Mykyta “Nick” Kalinin Switches From Yamaha To Kawasaki For 2018

Mykyta “Nick” Kalinin, an 18-year-old from Ukraine, is switching teams and motorcycles for the 2018 FIM Supersport 300 World Championship.

Kalinin, who is sponsored by Battley Cycles, a multi-line dealership in Gaithersburg, Maryland, finished 10th in the 2017 FIM Supersport 300 World Championship while riding a Yamaha YZF-R3 with Team Moto X Racing. For 2018, Kalinin is switching to the new Kawasaki Ninja 400, which he will race with GP Project Team, according to the official website of the FIM Superbike World Championship.

Kalinin’s teammate in 2018 will be Enzo de la Vega, an 18-year-old Frenchman who raced a YZF-R3 for GRT Yamaha WorldSSP300 Team in 2017.
