The fifth round of the World Championship Superbike will be held this weekend on the Miller Motorsports Park circuit, a “state of the art” track for cars, motorcycles and karts. The event will take place during “Memorial Day” with the two SBK races and the AMA Proracing Championship on the programme. The circuit, located only 35 minutes from Salt Lake City, Utah, in the USA, is considered as the best track in North America. Opened in 2006, and able to host most important national races and world championships. The track is holding the reputation of being one of the safest circuits in the world. The Supersonic Racing Team is preparing to race for the second time on the Miller Motorsports track. Last year, the Italian team obtained excellent results on the American track and this year, plenty reasons to do well again during the two races on Monday 30 May, although it will be the first time for Maxime Berger. Maxime Berger: “The track is new for me and I can’t wait to race on it. They told me that it is, a very fast track and therefore good for my style and my Ducati 1198. After the bad luck we had in race two at Monza, we hope to be a little better in these two races in the U.S.. I do all to get used to this new track and to be able to develop a good bike setup as soon as possible. I really want to have two good finishes on Monday, knowing I can count on an experienced team and being confident for the rest of the season.”
