Sportbike Track Time has cancelled its track day event scheduled May 9-10 at Barber Motorsports Park.

According to a post on its Facebook page, Sportbike Track Time wrote: “Due to the unfortunate spread of COVID-19, Alabama Governor [Kay] Ivey has extended the stay at home order until 15 May. This means Barber Motorsports Park is unable to host our track day, and Sportbike Track Time will be removing the 9/10 Barber event from the calendar.

“Sportbike Track Time is monitoring the situation daily. As of now all other events will be held according to schedule and dealt with on an individual basis.”
