He broke his foot prior to the 2008 season opener requiring surgery and an extensive rehabilitation period. He will miss at least some portion of the Lites East series. He joins us to talk about his progress. Andy Jefferson – WORCS Rider, Zip Ty Racing www.ziptyracing.com Andy is the first African American to qualify for a Supercross. He now races the WORCS series under the Zip Ty Racing tent on a Suzuki and competes in the Vet Master. He is one of the top finishers and hopes to get a championship this year. – Second Hour – Ben Spies – Superbike Rider, Yoshimura Suzuki www.benspies.com Two-time AMA Superbike Champion and 2007 Superstock Champion, Ben Spies has been unstoppable in the AMA roadracing series. In 2007, Ben locked up the Superstock Championship at the Road Atlanta race, but the Superbike Championship went down to the wire and was only decided at the final race at Laguna Seca. Ben will be racing the AMA series again this year, however his plans to race MotoGP are clear and he is set to ride the two MotoGP’s in the U.S. later this year. Ben joins us to discuss the upcoming season. Henry Wiles – Moto-ST Rider, Factory Aprilia Team http://www.ktm.com/6382.0.html?rider=2206&cHash=999aee162c Henry rides for two Lloyd Brothers Motor-sports, Inc. / Aprilia USA teams, the dirt track team and the Moto-ST team. In 2004, he won the Peoria TT. Last year, the Moto-ST team won the SST class championship. Henry loves all of forms of motorcycle racing including Supermoto, and even Ice Racing. Michigan is home for Henry, but he is in Florida this week preparing for the Moto-ST race on March 2nd.
