Centurion Racing are looking for win number seven this weekend in the British Supersport Cup Championship with 18-year-old Pete Spalding. Spalding who has now won six races out of six will be hoping to carry on his strong form this weekend at Knockhill, Scotland. (14th – 16th July) Not only has Spalding completely dominated the Supersport Cup series so far this season on board his Honda 600, the youngster is now moving another step forward in his promising career. As the team will be supplied with a brand new Honda 600 built specifically for the team, which will be delivered by Clive Padgett (Padgetts of Batley) to Centurion Racing Team this weekend at Knockhill on Friday (14th July). Spalding is not expected to race the new bike at Knockhill this weekend unless time permits, or until specific track time has been acquired on the new machine when he feels confident and comfortable with it. He will most likely be making his debut on the new bike next weekend at Oulton Park, 21st – 23rd July. Centurion Racing will also take receipt of a second Honda 600 ’06 bike at the end of this season which will also be purchased from Padgetts, this bike is currently being ridden in the British Supersport Championship by Dennis Hobbs / Jay Vincent. This will enable Centurion Racing to test both bikes over the winter period ready for the 07 season. The team will be releasing the 04 and 05 Honda 600’s to enable them to make room for the delivery of the two new machines. Centurion Racing has made a massive impact on the racing paddock this season and have been providing some consistently strong results in the Cup Championship. They are continually looking for overall higher positions in the Supersport Class and are slowly working towards their goal at each meeting. They are eager to get going on the new bikes in the hope that this will boast them up the Overall Championship table. For more details please see www.centurionracing.net
