Socal Supermoto teams up with TrackDaz!

March 19, 2014 – Socal Supermoto and TrackDaz are teaming up to offer a fantastic combo: The Socal Supermoto Sportbike Fundamentals class and a track day with TrackDaz.

The Sportbike Fundamentals class uses lightweight and responsive supermoto bikes to teach specific sportbike riding techniques, which directly translate to street riding or a sportbike track day. Veteran road-race instructor Stuart Smith provides instruction based on years of experience teaching at race schools and road race track days. Sportbike Fundamental days are on tight technical kart tracks and use asphalt only.

Once you have digested all the new information, hop on your bike and head out to the only place you can really put the learning to the test. No, NOT the canyons! The racetrack! TrackDaz offers riders a safe and controlled environment to take your riding to the next level. With plenty of dates in 2014 at both Chuckwalla Valley Raceway and Buttonwillow Raceway, riders are guaranteed to find a day that works for them.

Brian Murray of Socal Supermoto is a huge proponent of rider education, “Everyone comes into this sport thinking they can learn it all on their own. They can, but it is a long, painful and often expensive way to go. In every other sport people employ coaches; motorcycle riding shouldn’t be any different. And, most importantly, it should be FUN. Our class is designed to significantly shorten the learning curve and it benefits riders at all levels.”

“This makes total sense to me. Our NRS instructor dude and good friend Stuart Smith is already instructing for them, why not take the next step and give someone a place to practice the fundamentals they’ve learned. It’s the best of both worlds” added Dustin Coyner of TrackDaz.

Socal Supermoto – Started in 2003. Since then we’ve helped thousands of riders learn to ride and/or get their M1 endorsement. I come from the philosophy that proper technique not only makes you a safer/better rider, it makes riding much more enjoyable. http://www.socalsupermoto.com/school_sbf.html

TrackDaz – TrackDaz caters to all skill levels providing they have mastered the basic skills needed to operate a motorcycle safely and proficiently. We offer a safe and controlled environment for riders to push the limits of themselves and their machines. http://www.trackdaz.com
