Schwantz Won AMA Trustee Election By 3.5:1 In Southeast Region

Kevin Schwantz won his new AMA Trustee seat by a margin of 3.5:1 over incumbent Carl Reynolds, who played a key role in the Edmondson vs. AMA lawsuit that cost AMA members $3 million in a settlement made last June.

Schwantz, the 1993 500cc World Champion, drew 1191 votes to Reynolds’ 331.
