In the classroom, students will be guided through the world-class Schwantz School curriculum. Students then roll on track, immediately getting to apply and sharpen these fundamental techniques on the picturesque and challenging VIR North Course. The Schwantz School Lites offers something for everyone. Expert and novice racers can expand and sharpen theirs skills while new racers have the opportunity to build a solid foundation for their racecraft while qualifying for their WERA provisional novice license. Students can sample the latest addition to the lightweight class with a CBR250R, get a feel for the future of Moto3 onboard a MD250H, or experience the Schwantz School with their own machine! About Schwantz School Lites: A single-day program focused on teaching the skills and techniques Kevin employed throughout his racing career, culminating with the 1993 FIM 500GP World Championship. Taught by Kevin’s hand picked crew of championship-winning instructors, the Kevin Schwantz School Lites is an accredited school allowing new racers to apply for their WERA competition license. Both novice and expert racers will be able to tap into these techniques to continue honing their on-track skills, while youngsters interested in pursuing a career in racing can build the foundation of their race craft. With support from American Honda, the Schwantz School is pleased to offer a limited number of Moriwaki MD250H rentals at each of these exclusive schools, on a first-come-first-serve basis. The MD250H is a purpose built, purebred race machine. This is the perfect way for young, up and comers and veteran racers alike to get a taste of the type of machine that will fill the grids in the future Moto3 World Championship. As for the remaining students riding their own motorcycles, all brands are welcome. For the first time in the 10-year history of the Schwantz School, students will be able to participate on any brand of motorcycle.
