Nine-time Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi and co-driver Carlo Cassina drove their Ford Fiesta to the overall victory in the Monza Rally Show event November 26-29 at Autodromo di Monza, in Italy. Rossi and Cassina won the nine-stage event with a time of 1:24:07.2. That was 52.3 seconds faster than World Rally Championship regular Thierry Neuville and his co-driver Julien Vial, who were the runners-up in their Hyundai. Roberto Brivio and co-driver Davide Brivio (brothers and members of the Suzuki MotoGP team) placed third in a Ford Fiesta.

Rossi’s best friend Uccio, a.k.a. Alessio Salucci, and his co-driver Mitia Dotta got fifth in their Ford Fiesta.

Rossi and Cassina have won the Monza Rally Show four times with previous wins coming in 2006, 2007 and 2012, according to MotoGP.com.
