R.I.P. Former WERA Racer Jeff Walker

Former WERA racer Jeff Walker died February 6 at his home in Elko, Georgia. He was 38. He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Grace Walker and Kade Walker. Walker rode for the Army of Darkness, Neighbor of the Beast and Team Maxxis WERA National Endurance teams, and he also rode his own Suzuki SV650 in WERA National Challenge and Sportsman Series events. He finished third in the 2006 SV650 Suzuki Cup Finals at Road Atlanta. A visitation will be held today at 4:00-6:00 p.m. local time at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home (478-987-2423) at 1208 Main Street, Perry, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. local time at First Baptist Church (478-987-2002), in Perry, Georgia.
