Yesterday afternoon at VIR, a Navy Super Hornet jet buzzed VIR, making a wide left turn over the infield and then coming around for another circular pass over the track, leaving a thunderous roar in its wake. At the controls was U.S. Navy pilot Dave Porter, recently returned from Iraq and seen wandering the pits at VIR on foot Saturday.
