On behalf of Jessica Zalusky, we’re proud to report that she’s been discharged from the hospital and is enjoying the Holiday Season with her husband, family, and friends at her home in Minnesota! Jessica has made a lot of progress over the last month! Following the stroke, Jessica suffered paralysis on the left side of her body and now has feeling along with most of her movement back. Lately, she has been walking with a cane and has also accomplished walking short distances without it! Note, her left arm has also made great strides too! Jessica has now incorporated therapy for her repaired right knee (surgery 1 week prior to the stroke). This should really push her recovery along. Currently, Jessica’s in Outpatient Therapy with the superior athletic desire to overcome this challenge from her stroke on November 16th, 2008. Jessica has a great outlook with an awesome attitude and is determined to make a full recovery in the near future! Jessica and her husband Eric want to extend a huge ‘Thank You’ to all of her friends and fans for all the prayers, thoughts and more through this journey! We’ll continue to update her Caring Bridge web site ( www.caringbridge.org/visit/jessicazalusky ) with her progress along with short notes from Jessica too! We welcome your well wishes in the Guest Book section as she’s reading your notes often! Since Jessica has left the hospital, fans and friends may send cards, etc to: Jessica Zalusky C/O Terry Ore 6233 Humboldt Ave S Richfield MN 55423 *Happy Holidays from Jessica, Eric and their dear family and friends! Thanks again for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers!
