David Pierce sent in this photo and a note: “Bazza is a Belgian Tervuren dog who was named after (the late) Barry Sheene. Like his namesake he is a dashing fellow. Bazza and his human, Maxine Pierce compete in Agility competition and also enjoy herding. Bazza is also a frequent traveling companion for his dad, David Pierce a longtime AHRMA competitor. We are proud residents of Farmington, New Mexico. Thanks for your fine magazine.” Do you have a pet named after a famous racer, or know someone else who has a pet named after a famous racer?
