NOLA Motorsports Park in Great Condition Following Storms DENVER, Colo. (September 7, 2012) – Hurricane Isaac was no match for NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans, Louisiana, as the track endured only minor damage and is in great condition for the upcoming Triumph Big Kahuna New Orleans presented by Dunlop Tire and LeoVince on October 5-7, 2012. Race fans can exhale as the track has been declared fully operational for all motorsports and is ready for the big event coming this October. “Operations began on Saturday and we have not looked back,” said Wes Ratcliff, Assistant General Manager of NOLA Motorsports Park. “This past weekend’s events included several kart races, rental karting and an open track day for cars and motorcycles on our 2.75-mile North Track. We are fully operational and I couldn’t be more excited for next month’s Triumph Big Kahuna New Orleans.” M1 PowerSports staff is currently in the Greater New Orleans area meeting with local businesses and ironing out the last details needed to set the stage for NOLA Motorsports Park’s first professional event. The Triumph Big Kahuna New Orleans will put a stamp on what has been an incredible season for GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing thus far and promises to give fans a grand finale experience. “I joined in on a member track day at NOLA earlier this week with a great bunch of local motorcycle riders,” said Cameron Gray, CEO of M1 PowerSports. “The track is in phenomenal shape following the storm and October couldn’t come soon enough. I want to say thanks to Max from TTRNO for letting me take his Triumph Daytona 675 out, that bike sure is fun to ride.” For tickets and information about the Big Kahuna New Orleans, scheduled for October 5 – 7, 2012 as the first professional motorsports event at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans, La., visit ~http://www.m1powersports.com/big-kahuna-new-orleans/~.
