New Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix Ticket Package Includes Lapping Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca With Bostrom, Hayes

RIDE YOUR YAMAHA ON TRACK AT THE RED BULL U.S. GRAND PRIX Ben Bostrom and Josh Hayes to Lead Fans Around the Track MONTEREY, Calif. (June 22, 2009) Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca announced the details of the “Yamaha Grand Prix Special.” This special ticket will give race fans at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix the opportunity to not only experience some of the best two-wheel racing in the country, but also take a lap of the legendary Monterey Peninsula track led by Yamaha’s AMA American SuperBike riders Ben Bostrom and Josh Hayes. “I always look forward to hanging with the fans at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, what better way than a ride around the track together?” said Ben Bostrom. The “Grand Prix Special” includes a three-day general admission ticket, reserved grandstand seating in turn four for Saturday and Sunday, preferred motorcycle-only parking, goodie-bag from each participating brand and a lap of the track on Friday morning with Bostrom and Hayes, which is scheduled to take place between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.. The world-renowned raceway has been operated since its inception by the Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula (SCRAMP), a not-for-profit 501C(4) corporation. Each race season, SCRAMP donates its net proceeds to the volunteer groups that help put on the races. Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca’s world-class 2009 racing schedule includes the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix featuring MotoGP World Championship July 3-5, the 36th Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races August 14-16 and the Monterey Sports Car Championships featuring the American Le Mans Series October 9-11.
