N2 Track Days announced today the results of their first Roadracing World Action Fund fundraiser event held at New Jersey Motorsports park this past Saturday. Despite a forecast for a wet weekend, the relative newcomer to track days was met with an incredible show of support from their members, sponsors, and motorcycle enthusiasts alike.

Robert Cichielo, N2 CEO comments, “We were not sure what to expect hosting our first fundraiser, but with the support of our sponsors, staff and members, the fundraiser was an overwhelming success and exceeded all of our expectations.” Cichielo further adds, “The support from the rider community and their families was truly moving.”

The fundraiser kicked off at the close of Saturday’s track day activities with a BBQ/feast followed by a silent auction and raffles showcasing products and services donated by many gracious N2 sponsors and partners. Through these donations, $51,000 dollars was raised, which will be used to purchase Airfence soft barriers through the Roadracing World Action Fund.

“The Roadracing World Action Fund (RWAF) is happy to be working with N2 to deploy more soft barriers at racetracks where N2 holds events,” said RWAF Founder and President John Ulrich. “This is a great example of a track-day organization using a local fund raiser to benefit the greater good. The more soft barriers in place, the less chance a rider–whether they’re running a track-day with N2 or another organization or racing–will hit an unpadded wall after crashing, and that’s a beautiful thing!”

N2 Managing Partner, Jim Curtis comments, “The number of people who turned out to support this effort was incredible. It is really inspiring to see so many individuals coming together to promote rider safety.” Curtis adds, “We are very grateful for the generous donations from our event sponsors and the many volunteers who worked to make this a five-star event.”
