MWGP racers head to Buttonwillow Raceway Park August 9th and 10th for the second and final time this season.
Round 6 includes some very exciting news! Buttonwillow received a fresh surface, and the reviews from racers indicate the surface is much smoother, has great traction and more visible curbing! MWGP racers will have the first shot at new lap records on the improved surface as MWGP is the first organization to conduct a race after the repave.
MWGP has also partnered with Ignite Media Productions to provide dynamic live stream video coverage! We are testing the quality and viewer response to determine viability for next year. All races on Sunday will be broadcast live. MWGP will feature four on-track cameras, three on-board cameras, live commentary–coupled with available live timing feeds. MWGP and Ignite Media Productions aims to provide professional, entertaining and innovative video coverage. The video will be in standard definition, with plans to move to high definition next year. The live stream is 100% mobile-device friendly and viewable on your phone, tablet or laptop.
All class sponsors will see their logo displayed on their sponsored race and have the ability to submit a paragraph about their business and services to be read by our live commentator. Additionally, we are still working to allow the sponsors to have custom banner ads viewable alongside the live stream footage. MWGP is also asking all racers to log on and update their sponsor lists on TrackIntel so this information can be available to our commentator.

It means more class sponsorship, potentially more tire contingency, and more opportunities for you to give your current and future sponsors the advertising they need to invest in your racing program!
