2nd annual Motovid.com – Blackhawk Farms Raceway Broken Wing Benefit Raises $6,600.00 for Roadracing World Action Fund supporting motorcycle safety and air fence deployments at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. (Delavan WI) In only its second year, the Motovid.com – Blackhawk Farms Raceway Broken Wing event hosted by JOS Motorsports delivered another successful benefit held in tandem with its traditional Labor Day track day weekend Sat. Aug 31 raising $6,600.00 in direct proceeds. The 2013 Benefit’s results demonstrate the incredible support from the motorcycling community for continued motorcycle safety at the Midwest facility for racing, rider education and track day events. “Motovid.com wishes to thank all of its wonderful partners, sponsors, customers, participants, individual donors and dedicated volunteer staff for its support and dedication,” said Kathleen Casey, Motovid.com COO, owner. “The second year benefit simply could not have been successful without each of you. Motovid.com truly appreciates your continued dedication and support, promoting motorcycle safety at Blackhawk Farms Raceway.” The evening highlights included a silent auction, live auction and wing cooking – eating contests with two full seasons of Motovid.com track days at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in 2014 on the line. This years contests saw quite a bit of excitement and many broken wings with newly crowned winners unseating 2012 champions for the top prizes. Wendy Naessen, of Chicago, IL, cooked her way to the front with her spectacular wing recipe, crowning her the 2013 Motovid.com – Blackhawk Farms Raceway WingMaster.
