MotoGP World Champion Marquez Rides At HRC “Thanks Day” At Motegi

Marquez attends thanks day in Motegi to celebrate Honda’s racing’s achievements in 2013 Today, 2013 MotoGP World Champion, Marc Marquez, attended a thanks day hosted by Honda at a sunny Motegi circuit in front of more than 10,000 fans. It was an opportunity for Honda to showcase the achievements of 2013, and celebrate all together in one place. The 1000’s of fans enjoyed autograph sessions, a live Q&A with the Honda drivers and riders on stage and also a demonstration run from the World Champion on both the Motegi race course and the oval track. The final ceremony involved Marc leading the HRC JMX riders and other Honda riders for a two lap parade run. Marc Marquez “It’s always good to come to Japan and see our HRC friends! This time it’s something special as we celebrated the Title together with a very nice party on Friday evening with our sponsors and then some fun in Tokyo! Today we went to Motegi very early for the ‘Honda Thanks Day’ event. The weather has been wonderful and we really enjoyed the last day on track of this long and exciting season. Now tonight we will fly back to Europe as tomorrow we will go to Montecarlo for the FIM Gala Ceremony!”
