MotoGP: Bagnaia Earns Pole Position At Red Bull Ring

Defending Champion Francesco Bagnaia earned pole position during MotoGP World Championship qualifying Saturday at Red Bull Ring, in Spielberg, Austria. Riding his Lenovo Ducati, Bagnaia lapped the 2.7-mile (4.3 km) course in 1:28.539, topping the field of 23 riders.

Maverick Vinales was second with a 1:28.576 on his factory Aprilia RS-GP, and Red Bull KTM rider Brad Binder scored the third and final spot on the front row with a time of 1:28.653 on his RC16.
