MotoAmerica Superbike Free Practice Three (FP3), which was scheduled to take place 8:00 – 8:20 a.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) at Circuit of The Americas has been canceled due to extreme weather at the racetrack.

At post time a strong thunderstorm was over the track in Austin, Texas, producing heavy downpours of rain, localized flooding, and sky-to-ground lightning strikes within sight of the track.

FP3 was the only time MotoAmerica Superbike competitors were scheduled to ride Saturday before Race One, which is scheduled to happen at 4:15 p.m. CDT today.

We will post more information on any MotoAmerica or MotoGP schedule changes as soon as they become available.
