Mathew Scholtz topped MotoAmerica Supersport Test Session Four Thursday at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio. Riding his Strack Racing Yamaha YZF-R6 on spec Dunlop tires, the South African lapped the 2.4-mile course in 1:28.098 to lead the field of 33 entries.

David Anthony was the best of the rest with a 1:28.508 on his Wrench Motorcycles Suzuki GSX-R750.

EasyHealthPlans.com/TopPro Racing’s Maxi Gerardo was third with a 1:29.199 on his Suzuki GSX-R750.

Stefano Mesa posted a fourth-fastest 1:29.371 on his Tytlers Cycle Racing Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.

Teagg Hobbs completed the top five with a 1:29.395 on his Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki.

Light rain fell on parts of the track during the session.
