Jayden Fernandez topped MotoAmerica Junior Cup practice Friday morning at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Riding his Fernandez Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400, Fernandez covered the 14-turn, 4.0-mile course in 2:41.320 to lead the field of 22 riders.

Defending Champion Avery Dreher was second-best with a 2:42.819 on his Bad Boys Racing Kawasaki. 

Emerging star Matthew Chapin posted a third-quickest 2:43.313 on his BARTCON Racing Ninja 400.
