MotoAmerica: Herrin P1, Hayes Crashes In Supersport FP1 At Barber (Updated)

Josh Herrin, riding his Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati NYC Panigale V2, was quickest in MotoAmerica Supersport Free Practice One Friday morning at Barber Motorsports Park.

Four-time Superbike Champion Josh Hayes crashed his Squid Hunter Yamaha YZF-R6 in Turn Three, causing the session to be red-flagged. Hayes was taken to the track’s medical center, and his condition was not known at post time.

Update: Hayes has been transported to a local hospital with a suspected broken leg.
