Hayden Schultz to contest 2020 Twins Cup Championship

Hayden Schultz Racing is excited to announce its return to the MotoAmerica paddock in 2020. Hayden will be contesting the Twins Cup championship on a Yamaha MT-07 prepared by Gene Burcham.

After focusing on flat track in 2019, Hayden decided to focus his efforts in MotoAmerica this coming season. Having seen success on lightweight bikes before in the KTM RC Cup, Hayden feels like he can be competitive in the ever-growing Twins Cup class. Currently sidelined with a broken wrist from a flat track crash earlier in the season, the team will have to wait until the new year to get on track for the first time. In the meantime, Hayden will be focusing on finishing his degree and graduating from the University of Arkansas in Recreation and Sports Management.

“I can’t wait to get back on track with MotoAmerica in 2020. We have a competitive package for this year’s Twins Cup Championship with our Yamaha MT-07 and are aiming to be battling at the front. I’ve got some great people behind me and we are ready to get started. A big thank you to my parents for their support and to Gene Burcham for all he has done to keep me on track with great machinery. There are going to be a lot of fast riders and running up front won’t be an easy task but I’m up for the challenge and will do all I can to be prepared by the time we grid up for Road Atlanta!” said Schultz.

The team is looking for sponsors to partner with and is focusing on producing media to gain exposure for the team and their sponsors. If you are interested in working with Hayden Schultz Racing in 2020 or would like more information email [email protected].
