Nathan Gouker was quickest during Talent Cup practice 1 Friday morning at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Riding his Quarterley Racing Kramer APX-350 MA, Gouker covered the 2.55-mile road course in 1:41.852, topping the field of 13 riders.

Sam Drane was the best of the rest with a time of 1:42.008 on his Yamaha BLU CRU Estenson Racing Kramer APX-350 MA.

Jake Page got third with a time of 1:42.657 on his Team Hammer Kramer APX-350 MA.

Kensei Matsudaira was fourth on his Team Roberts Kramer APX-350 MA with a lap time of 1:43.394.

Derek Sanchez finished the session fifth with a time of 1:43.511 on his Real Steel Honda Kramer APX-350 MA.
