Beaubier, on the Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR, was just quicker than Jake Gagne, who led his Attack Racing Yamaha teammate Bobby Fong. Richie Escalante on the Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki was fourth, ahead of Hayden Gillim on the Real Steel Honda CBR 1000 RR-R.
