The official Harley-Davidson press release announcing the fate of the company’s MotoAmerica King Of The Baggers factory racing team is expected to be issued this week.

But the quote attributed to Kyle Wyman in a Harley-Davidson press release about the races held last weekend at NJMP reads like something you’d hear when a racing program is being closed down. Especially the last sentence…

“This team has changed my life and changed my career. This one’s going to feel really good for a long time,” said Wyman, who won the King of the Baggers championship in 2021 and 2025 and leads the series with 27 career victories. “How can you sum up what we’ve done with this program? You just can’t. We’ve created a lot of memories and impacted a lot of people in a positive way. I wouldn’t want to do it with any other group. I want to give a huge thanks to Harley-Davidson, to all of our partners and our fans. The fans have been incredible. It’s great to give them one more win.”
