Maximo Quiles led Moto3 World Championship Free Practice 2 Saturday morning, at Red Bull Ring – Spielberg, in Austria. Quiles used his Pirelli-shod CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team KTM to lap the 2.7-mile (4.35 km) track in 1:39.639, which led the field of 26 riders.

Angel Piqueras was second-best with a time of 1:39.787 on his FRINSA – MT Helmet – MSI KTM.

Valentin Perrone, piloting his Red Bull KTM Tech3, claimed the third and final spot on the front with a lap time of 1:39.805.
