Moto2: Gonzalez Tops Opening Practice At Balaton Park

Manuel Gonzalez was quickest during Moto2 World Championship Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at Balaton Park, in Hungary. Riding his Pirelli-shod Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP Kalex on the 2.53-mile (4.08 km) track, the Spaniard recorded a 1:41.068 to lead the field of 28 riders.

David Alonso was the best of the rest with a 1:41.193 on his CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team Kalex.

Celestino Vietti was third-fastest with a 1:41.290 on his MB Conveyors SpeedRS Team Boscoscuro.

American Joe Roberts finished the opening session in 21st with a 1:42.250 on his OnlyFans American Racing Team Kalex.
