Manuel Gonzalez was quickest during Moto2 World Championship Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at Sachsenring, in Germany. Riding his Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP Kalex on Pirelli control tires, the Spaniard covered the 2.28-mile (3.67 km) road course in 1:22.483, topping the field of 27 riders.
Tony Arbolino was the best of the rest with a 1:22.648 on his REDS Fantic Racing Kalex.
Gonzalez’s teammate, Senna Agius was third with a lap time of 1:22.695.
American Joe Roberts finished the opening session in 14th with a 1:23.538 on his OnlyFans American Racing Team Kalex.
