Industry participation grows as August 16-17 event nears

Winchendon, MA (August 10 2010) The list of special guests continues to grow for the summers’ best track event, Ducati Revs New Jersey, August 16 and 17 at New Jersey Motorsport Park. With limited spots available this is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with a host of industry experts.

Joining veterans Larry Pegram and Doug Polen on the track are a multitude of professional riders with extensive experience in road racing, flat track, dirt track and stunt riding. Off the track, a quality group of well known industry suppliers will be represented on vendor row.

Confirmed competitors attending the event include Team CnR Motorsports Bobby Fong, Michael Beck and Joey Pascarella who are challenging the Daytona Sportbike Championship aboard Ducati 848’s, Team Celtic’s 16-year old Sportbike rider PJ Jacobsen, Supersport rider Eric Stump and Superbike rider Shane Narbonne. Stunt rider, Aaron Colton, who also holds an AMA professional license, will be in attendance.

“When you add these talented riders to the industry’s best training staff you truly have an amazing wealth of riding skills and knowledge at one event,” commented Jason Routhier, Ducati North America regional representative.

The Penguin School provides a diverse and experienced crew of expert riding coaches that also includes accomplished professional competitors. In fact, the Penguin School’s lead instructors Eric and Jeff Wood, Scott Greenwood and Mike Himmlesbach all hold countless regional and national racing titles.

“With the large number of professionally licensed racers attending, we decided to schedule a short professional rider exhibition for the afternoon sessions,” said Eric Wood, President of Penguin Roadracing School. “Although the focus of this school is developing our students’ riding skills for the road, it is always interesting to watch how some of these same skills are utilized by top level competitors.”

Along with the abundance of rider talent is a long list of supporters that will be on hand to cater to participants’ needs. Daily giveaways will include products from vendors and sponsors as well tickets for the AMA Pro Superbike Championship on September 3-5, provided by New Jersey Motorsport Park.

Ducati Revs New Jersey is SOLD OUT for Monday August 16 with limited space still available for Tuesday August 17. In order to reserve a spot, visit www.penguinracing.com or your local Ducati dealer today.
