Thrashed Bike Racing is excited to be competing in the MotoAmerica Bazzaz Superstock 1000 class aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1 for the 2017 season. The team is continuing with 20-year-old rider Max Flinders, of Slidell, Louisiana, who finished eighth in the MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 Championship in 2016.

Thrashed Bike Racing has undergone significant challenges in the preparation for the 2017 season. Team principal Tim Ivanoff is still in the hospital following a broken neck he suffered in a crash during a flat track event before Christmas. In spite of the obvious difficulties, the small Louisiana team is focused and dedicated to making a strong challenge in the very competitive Superstock 1000 class.

Rider Max Flinders commented: “I can’t wait to get back in the MotoAmerica paddock for 2017. We will have a new bike and will be pushing harder than ever before. 2016 was a good year for reliability and consistent finishes, and getting points in every race certainly paid off. I know that we will be challenged until Tim is back on his feet, but I intend to do him proud while he recuperates.”

The team still has sponsorship opportunities available. If you would like to be associated with the smallest, friendliest team in the paddock please contact Max Flinders via e-mail [email protected]

Many thanks to the team’s 2017 sponsors: Arrow Aviation, CPL Systems, Barbara Conner Jewelry, Friendly Power Sports, Arai Helmets, Oxford Products, Cycle Gear and ADC Graphics.
