Massie Edges Grabowski For Moto Series Fasttrax 1000cc Superbike Championship At Nelson Ledges

NELSONS LEDGES, Ohio The 2010 Moto Series Fasttrax Road Racing Championship Series came to a close Sunday with the sprint and endurance races sealing the deal on the season championships. Sam Williams of Akron, Ohio, riding his collection of vintage Kawaskis had nearly a clean sweep in the vintage classes winning championships in Vintage Classic, Vintage Light and Vintage Sport. Andrew Sexton of Westlake, Ohio riding a Ducati 999s was a double champion taking both 1000 GT and 750 GT season championships. In the incredibly close 1000 Superbike Championship Gregg Massie of Wilmington, Ohio pulled out the season victory by six points ahead of Rob Grabowski of Clay, Michigan. The Twin (650) Superbike Novice class was hotly contested throughout the season between Bill Billock of Atwater, Ohio and Steve Nero of Rootstown, Ohio with Billock taking the championship with his win followed by a second place finish in Sunday’s races.
