Remembering old friends at the Loudon Classic Weekend

We are planning on a celebration of life party on Saturday night, June 20 for Don Hutchinson, our long-time race director, Steve Baron, racer and our starter/scoring system master and Chris Cramer, our referee.

Don Hutchinson left a large racing T-shirt collection that goes back to the AAMRR days. There are lots of team and rider shirts that will bring back memories. The T-shirts will be auctioned with the proceeds from the sale going to the Karen Hornbecker fund. Most of the shirts have never been worn. Don’s daughter, Phyllis, thought that Don would like to see his collection go to the popular rider’s injury fund.

For those of you that have not been to the track in a while, remember that the AMA Pro Series is back with a round of the National Supermoto Series. These guys slide on the challenging pavement and dirt track layout with scary jumps. The weekend will provide some great racing.

Don’t miss it: this weekend, June 19 to 21 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon.
