Racer Bryan Paquette was killed Friday at New Hampshire International Raceway, during an LRRS race weekend.

According to Paquette’s long-time friend Eric Wood, Paquette crashed when his motorcycle lost its front brake pads and he ran into the tire wall in front of the barrier outside turn three.

Wood said that Paquette was a former AMA Pro Superbike racer making a return to road racing, running in a class for riders over age 40, for fun. Paquette, who had been participating in track days at Loudon, was married and had three children, Wood said.

Paquette often worked as a member of the Dunlop tire fitting crew at AMA Nationals, Wood said.

Further details will be posted as they become available.
