According to local news reports, the State of Montana is investigating Dal Smilie, the Montana government lawyer who resigned last fall from the AMA Board of Directors after the non-profit organization found that he had been reimbursed for falsified expense reports. Smilie, an elected member of the AMA Board for 25 years, was Chairman when questions arose over his expense accounts.
